Based on our conversation and the data collected, I'll begin to develop a tailor-made weight management plan that suits your individual needs and preferences. This plan, which is designed to not only help you achieve a healthier weight but also enhance your overall health and wellbeing, will be discussed in detail at the 2-week follow-up as well as how to transition to the next step, your membership.
3. Weight Wellness Membership (ongoing)
After your comprehensive Weight Wellness Consultation, you will transition into the Weight Wellness Membership. This online, ongoing program supports your journey towards sustainable weight management.
As a member, you'll benefit from monthly Telehealth visits, during which we'll review your progress, adjust your personalized plan, and address any challenges. As you reach your target weight, these check-ins will reduce in frequency, shifting focus to weight maintenance and continued health improvement.
You'll also enjoy the convenience of real-time health data monitoring through state-of-the-art, Bluetooth-connected equipment. This data allows me to personalize your care even further, adjusting your plan based on tangible progress, not just intuition.
Medical weight loss is a science-backed approach to weight loss, which involves a comprehensive plan tailored to an individual's needs and supervised by healthcare professionals. While it is tempting to want to dish out the hefty fee as long as you get the best medication, remember, these medications take 68-72 weeks to reach their peak effect, and often need to be continued even longer. Without reliable insurance coverage, I will likely recommend a less expensive, but still well studied and effective medication.
No, not for my services, but I do work with your insurer to get medication coverage. Choosing to bypass insurance or third-party payers allows me to provide you with superior, unobstructed care. Prescribing the right weight management medication is an art that requires in-depth knowledge and understanding of each patient's unique health and social profile. Additionally cost and coverage issues can be an unfortunate limiting factor. As an expert in this field, I consider various factors such as your medical history, current health status, lifestyle, personal preferences, and insurance coverage/costs when choosing the most suitable medication for you. The goal is to optimize efficacy while minimizing potential risks, to support your journey towards sustainable weight loss and improved health.
Out of respect for myself and my patients I kindly request that all visits are cancelled or rescheduled 24-hours in advance. If a schedule change is necessary within 24-hours I charge a $20 cancellation fee. Additionally, I make a consistent effort to run on time all of the time, so I do ask that my patients return this effort. If you are unable to be reached within 5 minutes of your visit, I will ask you to reschedule and you will be required to pay the $20 cancellation fee.
